Sale of Our Company
As a natural consequence of the development of our company, we could be sold to another company. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All registration information is stored in secure locations on password-protected servers.
Please note during extreme weather in certain areas, we limit our shipping to the following schedule to protect your investment. Ground orders will ship when temperatures have dropped below 90 degrees or above 35 degrees. Two Day air orders are processed Monday through Wednesday. We apologize that we cannot ship on Fridays. Expect orders placed after business hours to take two days for processing. Overnight orders placed during business hours on Thursday will arrive the following Monday. Based on state availability, shipments will be handled by UPS, FedEx or GSO.
- During extreme weather Ground orders will be held in order to protect your investment.
- 2nd day orders will ship the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday following the date of your purchase.
- Overnight and Overnight Priority orders will ship the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday following the date of your purchase.
Wine shipments require a signature, at the time of delivery, from someone 21 years or older. No wine will be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person, and any person unable to produce age verification forfeits their right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may be held in storage at a local depot until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to Luna Vineyards.
All costs associated with the return to Luna Vineyards due to unsuccessful delivery attempts will be charged to the customer. Federal Express and UPS will make three attempts do deliver your order. If you receive a door tag, please contact them directly to make further arrangements for your shipment. In the unlikely event of damages in transit, customers are responsible for filing claims directly with the respective third party transit carrier (UPS, GSO or FedEX.)
Shipping charges include costs for third party transit and all product-handling costs. Orders are shipped following credit card authorization.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICIES
We will replace or refund for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed, or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. If there has been any damage during shipment, please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the wine. We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.
Please send an email to TastingRoom@LunaVineyards.com or call our Tasting Room at 707-255-5862 for return instructions. Luna Vineyards cannot be held liable for any damage to orders shipped to an address where there is no legal-aged person available to sign for the package, for damage due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or for wines ordered in error.
A $25 return fee will be applied to all canceled orders and to all shipments that are returned due to incorrect information provided by the customer or if the customer is not available to receive package on 3 delivery attempts.
